As we are celebrating all bright ideas, there is no restriction on what you can submit as your entry. For example, your entry might be:

  • A computerised or 3-D model or design
  • An artist’s impression, painting or sketch
  • Photographs
  • A short film
  • An essay
  • A written or designed project plan

If you’ve got a bright idea for making better places, write it down, paint or design it, and send it in with the entry form below.

Your title should consist of 10-15 words.
describe your idea using non-technical language in no more than 50 words.
you may enter your bright idea in more than one category. List the categories you’d like your entry to be considered for from the following: Buildings, Open Spaces, Play Time, Work Life, Green Thinking
  • What problems / issues will your idea help to solve?
  • Who will benefit from your bright idea?
  • How will people benefit from your idea?
  • How could your idea be implemented?
  • What impact would your idea have on communities?
